Prayer Network
We are pleased to confirm that we have now set up our Prayer Network within the church. It is based on email addresses. However, to ensure those not on email are keep informed of prayer needs, they are linked to someone who has an email address. A list is available and if anyone has an urgent prayer request please contact one of those named in the list, who will then circulate the request to all members of the network.
Church Banners
We have formed a group of people interested in helping to design and make Church Banners. If anyone would like to get involved please contact either Lynn & Jim or Janet & Trevor.
Charities we will be supporting this year
We will be supporting the following two charities with any collections taken at special services/fundraising events from our Christmas Carol Service in 2019 to our Harvest Service in 2020.
The Norrie Disease Foundation
The Sailor's Society
Benin Christian Support
While we are not supporting Benin Christian Support financially this year, any knitted items (blankets, jumpers, etc.) plus any unwanted gifts/good quality bric a brac (which can be sold at car boot sales) will still be collected and passed on to be sent to Benin or used to raise funds to support their work with the children and families there. Any items can be given to Joyce Whiterod/Helen Skingle or Janet Andrews.
For more information on these charities please visit their websites by clicking on the relevant charity's name.
